📋 Briefing

For
  • Safety

Safety is non-negotiable. If something feels off, stop work, make the area safe, and notify a lead. We protect people first, property second, and schedules third. Every tech is empowered to pause a job for safety, escalate concerns, and document hazards: No blame, no drama.

Core Rules (read once, follow always)

  • PPE on, always: gloves and eye protection; respirator when misting chemicals, steaming in tight spaces, or using strong cleaners.
  • Chem discipline: use labeled bottles, correct dilutions, and check the SDS before first use. Never mix chemicals. Ventilate interiors.
  • Surface & tool safety: test in a small, safe spot; secure cables/hoses; keep pads, cords, and bottles off hot panels. Unplug before pad or accessory changes.
  • Slip/Trip/Heat: manage water and cords; wear non-slip footwear; hydrate and take shade breaks—Florida heat is real.
  • Vehicle control: key custody with the lead; confirm park/ brake; never run a vehicle in enclosed spaces; verify windows up before rinsing.
  • Environmental care: contain runoff; keep chemicals away from storm drains; dispose of towels and waste per guidelines.
  • Incidents: report any injury, near-miss, property damage, or chemical exposure immediately. Document with photos and a brief note.

Emergency Quick Steps

  1. Stop work, make the scene safe.
  2. First aid/eyewash (15 minutes for eye/skin exposure), call 911 if needed.
  3. Notify a lead and Ops.
  4. Document: who/what/when/where, plus photos.

Work smart, speak up, and go home in the same shape you arrived. Every time.
